Dear Supporter
With the summer weather finally here, our Keepers are being kept busy finding different ways of keeping the animals cool through enrichment.
In the rhino house, Indian one-horned rhino Samir has been joined by another new arrival, Bertus. Bertus arrived at Edinburgh Zoo on 1st June and he and Samir have since become inseparable.
Don’t forget, we are still looking to recruit participants for our Glasswalk Challenge! This is a truly unique and exciting sponsorship event so why not give it a go?
Kindest regards,
Development Team

The Binturong's are back!
We are pleased to let you know that the binturongs are now back on show and available for adoption! Billy, a 6 year old male and Bali, an 8 year old female, are now housed in the enclosure between the Sumatran tigers and the Amur leopards, on the “Big Catwalk”.
Often referred to as a “bearcat”, the binturong has a shaggy brown coat and a large, prehensile tail. Binturongs are mainly nocturnal animals but can sometimes be spotted out and about enjoying the sunshine. Come along and pay them a visit!
